How does the Digital Clinic work?

You will fill out a smart logic questionnaire about the condition you are looking to get treatment for. Our provider network will review your questionnaire and make an assessment to determine if medication is needed for treatment.  If the provider prescribes a medication it will be sent to your local pharmacy for pick up. 


Who is your provider network?

The digital clinic contracts with an online telehealth provider network  The 50 State provider network has licensed and insured MDs, NPs and MAs to review your information and offer the right treatment plan for our patients.   .   


Who can use the digital clinic?

Adults 18 or over who are looking to get fast and affordable treatment for the therapeutic areas our providers can make online assessments.  


How much does it cost?

The clinical assessment cost $20 for an asynchronous consultation.  The medication costs may vary depending on quantity, type and strength based on your insurance or discount card price.  


Do I need to schedule a Veterinarian appointment?

You do not need to schedule an appointment for your pet to receive treatment using our digital clinic in the States that allow for asynchronous consultations.  


How long does this process take?

Our providers typical response time is 30 minutes but we do allow for a 24 hour turnaround time. This is dependent on our pharmacy partners. 


How will I get my pets medicine?

Our licensed medical providers will prescribe the appropriate medication for treatment after reviewing your assessment for the condition you are looking to get care for.  We will send it to the patients preferred pharmacy that will be collected during the account creation process. 


Can I talk to a Veterinarian?

You do not need to talk to a doctor unless it is required by the State you live in.  We will notify you if a scheduled synchronous consultation is required.  Our providers will review the information you submit in the questionnaire to determine the appropriate treatment plan.   


What if my pet has a reaction to the medication?

If it is in an emergency then please take it to the local animal emergency room.  For all other reaction please contact your veterinarian through your patient portal log in.  

 

Do I have to take a picture?

We require a current photo for our veterinarians to confirm what condition we are treating the pet for 


PAYMENT


How do I pay for my consultation?

We collect your payment in your account page so our provider can review your pets assessment. 


Can I use insurance?

We do not accept insurance for the consultation because the cost is less then a typical copay but we do accept insurance for the medication whenever you pick it up at your local pharmacy. 


How do I pay for my pets medication?

You will pay for medication at your local pharmacy.  


Can you ship my medication?

We do offer shipping for certain pharmacies in our network that provide mail order delivery services.  


What if I don't pick up my medication?

Your local pharmacy will hold your medication for 13 days and then it will be returned to stock.  You will not be charged for the medication if you don't pick it up. 


What happens if my pet doesn't get prescribed a medication?

There is a no refund policy because we will collect payment once you submit your questionnaire for a veterinarian to review.  


Can I get refills?

Our providers will authorize a specific amount of medication to be dispensed and the total number refills.  This will vary for each condition we treat and your medical history.   


Can I choose any pharmacy?

Yes, you have the option to choose any pharmacy of your choice.  We will pre populate the pharmacies in our network based on your geographic location and you can have the option to enter a different pharmacy of your choice. 


When do you collect my payment?

We collect your payment once you check out and submit your questionnaire for our provider to review.  If a  prescription is sent to your local pharmacy, you will be charged at the time of pick up. 


Where will my pets medical record be stored?

We will share your consultation summary with your local provider who's information will be collected during the account creation process.  We also securely store you consultation summary in a HIPAA secure environment that will not be shared or sold to any third party providers.
